PocketPicks
PocketPicks is a social app for sports fans to compete with one another on NBA, NCAAB, and NHL games. Pick games daily, and see what friends and other fans are picking too. Compare performance head-to-head, while competing to make it to the top of the Facebook rankings. Track performance throughout the season and use PocketPicks to prove your fanhood!
I first joined the PocketPicks team in its early stages, as a beta tester. My job included locating bugs and reporting them to the development team. As the app gained popularity I was asked to redesign the interface from the ground up, preparing the app for the launch of version 2.

I decided to take a very modern and fun approach to the new design. The original app used a bottom bar to switch between each screen, but I replaced it with the three circles in the bottom right corner. I also redid the games screen, removing the "stamp" icons of whether you have picked a game or got the results and instead used plain colors as a cleaner representation.

For this project, I was asked by the team in charge of this app to design its screens. Along with this I made a presentation board of the problem and solution used by the team to pitch their idea in class.
